Merry Christmas from our house to yours! 🎄 May this season bring you the joy that only the love of Jesus can provide. ✝
Praise Jesus! We just received wonderful news. I have been praying for the Lord's favor for the past few months, and He blessed us! Life has been extremely stressful this past year. Recently, things have been turning around for our family for the better. I feel like I can finally breathe again. I'm also grateful for the loving, generous community who surrounds us in prayer and thoughtful gestures. God's grace is abundant! God is good! God is faithful! 😃
MARIA'S MUSES
Some of you are aware that I'm a building sub at an upper elementary school, grades fifth and six. It's been a nice change of pace as I'm humored by the younger students. They are my latest muses. The following was inspired by actual events. I'll let you guess in the comments what events took place to prompt me to write the song. MARIA'S MOMENTS
Around Thanksgiving each year for my birthday, my husband and I go to a quaint outdoor shopping mall called Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA. It's always a lovely time of year to go because the village is decked with Christmas lights, merry music, and festive fare. We enjoy trying out new-to-us restaurants in the nearby vicinity. There's also a gingerbread house display. I shop at the same stores each year and am greeted by name. Talk about great customer service! It's my favorite place to shop for my kind of fashion. What a great venue it is to find that perfect gift for that special someone. I'm already looking forward to going back next year.
