You have no idea how happy I am for summer break. As much as I love my substitute teaching job, it's been a rough year in many aspects of my life. I'll spare you the tragic details.

Instead, I'd love to hear what you have in store this season, and I'll tell you my plans for the summer. One of my goals is to put Not Again Amy's Story on pre-order on Amazon. That means I have to approve the cover, go over the edits, create original front and back matter of the novel, and get it formatted.

The formatting is a bear, which is why I farm it out. The special font I use for the paperback adds to the complexity of the formatting. Certain popular software doesn't support my specialty font. Rather than taking hours to format, it takes much, much longer—not just days or even weeks, as I am persnickety. The work is intricately done by hand for each chapter. My formatter, Samantha Fury, does a great job. The end result is fabulous! I can't wait for the next installment of the Not Again series to be ready for the world to read.

GAME NIGHT!
