BEACH TIME!
Fond memories of my happy place... Over the last week of July through the beginning of August, I made a final trip to the beach to celebrate my sister's birthday and see my kiddos. The timing was perfect allowing my son to visit from the Jersey shore during his 2 days off from lifeguarding. We dined out, rode bikes, watched movies, and laughed A LOT. After watching the Barbie movie, we stopped at Crooked Hammock Brewery, a family friendly brewpub before dropping my son off at the ferry. We enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere, live music, and company. The following photo of my twins and me is the product of my sister's encouragement for a silly photo. It's hard to tell, but my kiddos are actually having fun. 😆😊😁

Prior to my last jaunt down the shore, I was able to soak up the sun one Saturday afternoon where I spent a couple fleeting hours on the beach. Later, we dined on a deck in Ocean City, Maryland overlooking the bay with my hubby, sister, daughter and her boyfriend at the hot new place, Saltwater 75. The food was scrumptious, and the server was friendly and attentive.

We're having a party in my book club Facebook group, Books "R" Us to celebrate the anniversary of my Not Again duology. Since each book of the series was published in the summer, I decided to celebrate both of them at the same time. Every post is a giveaway! Plus, we're giving out $10 gift cards!! To date, we have 14 gift cards to giveaway! This is a two-day event starting on Friday, August 11 at 12am through Saturday, August 12 at midnight. Sunday will be a catch up day.
